Community Preschool

With a heavy heart we announce the passing of William “Bill” Zier. Barbara Zier’s husband. Barb was the Preschool Director at Venice Nokomis Community Preschool from August 1983-August 2023. Her husband, “Bill” was well known around the preschool for all his “handyman” skills and keeping everything up and running and safe for all the students. He also drove the bus to assist on field trips with the students. The students always enjoyed talking with him and asking him about the tools he was using and what he was doing. We will miss seeing his smiling face, can do it attitude and his general helpful self.

IN LIEU OF FLOWERS THE FAMILY IS ASKING FOR DONATIONS TO THE VNC PRESCHOOL BUILDING FUND.

The completion of this project was near and dear to his heart.
